Welcome to Mountain Biking Spain, you have just found one of Spain's best kept secrets. The Almanzora valley in the Sierra de los Filabres is a little known venue offering an inexhaustible supply of big mountain XC and Enduro style riding. This is proper mountain biking using hard to find, off the map, flowing singeltrack that is littered with technical sections, fast descents and testing climbs.

January 2010

The end of December beginning of January has given relatively dry cool weather with the odd day of rain in the valley and snow on the higher ground from around 1500mtrs. All the trails are rideable and super grippy at the moment and we have even managed to make a short video of one of our favourite descents during this patch of stable weather.
We have a new family/couples orientated accommodation option available this month. (See web page for details and price)
Enduro wise just Velez Blanco on the 21st of March open for entry at the moment. This is an excellent event offering both a short(30km)or a longer(50km)course classed with a high fitness level and a medium technical level. Details at www.brujobike.es.
