Based in the Almanzora valley this Anglo-Spanish partnership specialises in the introduction and coaching of beginners and more experienced riders in the highly addictive and exciting sport of mountain biking.
Our accommodation and mountain biking packages will give you a great introduction to riding Spanish trails and offer outstanding value for money. Thrills and Skills long weekend breaks (maximum group size of 6) start with a minimum stay of 3 days, use 2 guides and give an extraordinary amount of flexibility, you can opt to hit the trails for a longer ride, or you may fancy a bit of 1-1 coaching to nail that skill you haven't quite mastered. Week long breaks generally take on a more relaxed pace with much needed rest days built in to allow for maintenance, recovery, and the chance to sample other activities the area offers. We also run multi-day tours of the Sierra de los Filabres at certain times of the year, and our clients are often given the opportunity to compete in Spanish marathons and events.

In the last update i reported that winter along with the snow had gone and summer had arrived. The end of March threw up a pertty mixed bag of weather conditions forcing me to eat my own words and at the time of writing the snow line sits at around 1300mtrs.
Einat raced in the 3rd marcha El Ejido finishing a very credible second. The route 80km with 1587mtrs of climbing was one of the toughest she had ever done. Unfortunately her sense of achievement was mared at the presentation ceremony when the womens trophies were presented last even after the organisers had been thanked. A mix up with the results mean't that a photo of the top three females wasn't possible. These sort of actions go along way in discouriging female competitors. Einats own club c.c.Albonjese are super supportive towards all female riders it's a shame other Spanish clubs (El Ejido take note)have'nt matured enough to adopt the same attitudes.
Photographs of the M.B.S. bunkhous (Plata Ruina-Silver Ruin) nearing it's completion now appear in our gallery. This is a truely superb location and we are excited to add this to our accommodation options.
